We are seeking a skilled and driven Digital Marketing Specialist to devise effective strategies, manage campaigns, and drive brand awareness and lead generation. Analyze data, optimize performance, and stay updated with the latest digital marketing trends.
About your role
As a Digital Marketing Associate at AgoPay/AgoGo, you will play a crucial role in implementing and managing marketing campaigns, lead generation with conversion tracking, across various platforms. You will play a key role in expanding our brand presence, engaging with our community, and driving awareness and adoption of our products and services through compelling social media campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to achieve business objectives, user growth strategies to drive user acquisition, activation, retention, especially in the mobile app space.
- Manage and oversee digital marketing campaigns across various platforms, including social media, email marketing, SEO, and PPC.
- Implement online marketing tactics to drive brand visibility, website traffic, and lead generation.
- Analyze campaign performance data and provide actionable insights for continuous optimization.
- Understand user behaviors through data analysis, propose optimization suggestions to improve user experience, increase app engagement, and loyalty.
- Optimize our presence on the Google Play and App Store, improving app store optimization (ASO) to increase app visibility and downloads.
- Stay updated with industry trends, digital marketing best practices, and emerging technologies by tracking and analyzing competitors’ strategies in the app market and other marketing channels to improve existing strategies.
- Lead growth experimentation, optimizing existing channels and exploring new opportunities.
- Work closely with the product and technical team to enhance app features and functionalities that align with user growth targets to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
- Monitor and manage digital marketing budgets effectively by monitoring key metrics and funnel performance related to app user acquisition, retention, and engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, Business, or Certification in Digital Marketing/SEO
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in digital marketing roles, with a proven track record of successful campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, tools, and analytics.
- Proficiency in social media management, email marketing platforms, SEO, and PPC.
- Strong experience with Google AdWords, Google Analytics, and other PPC advertising platforms
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage marketing initiatives effectively.
- Strong knowledge of app marketing platforms and strategies, including experience in running successful geo-targeted campaigns.
- Proven experience with Google Play Store optimization and understanding of the algorithms and ranking factors.
- Sensitivity to numbers, strong data analysis, and problem-solving abilities.
- Deep understanding of user behavior within mobile apps, capable of providing insightful strategies.
- Understanding of the Nigerian app market, those with relevant work experience are preferred.
- Experience in coordinating on-ground marketing campaigns and teams
Skills
- Knowledge of SEO, Social Media Marketing, Marketing Trends
- Experience with Google Search Console and Google Analytics
- Excellent Marketing understanding
Stakeholders Management:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, Business, or Certification in Digital Marketing/SEO
- Proven work experience as a Digital Marketing Specialist, lead generation specialist or similar role in the technology industry.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, algorithms, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content for different social media channels.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and growing social media communities and engagement.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and generate innovative social media campaign ideas.
- Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Buffer, Google Analytics) to monitor performance and extract insights.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
