Role and objectives

Our field marketing representatives will be introducing, onboarding vendors, users and closing partnerships. Our clientele consists of Small-medium scale businesses with real estate, automobile, educational, remittances, wholesalers, retailers, general ordinary person who wants to broker any deals on installments, or get their needs financed while they pay back on installments. The FMR are tasked with introducing, onboarding, and implementing corporate plans, negotiating strategies and meeting business objectives.

What you will be accountable for
- Own performance across your territory and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Plan visits, go to merchants, build strong business relationships, answer their questions, issues and concerns, and monitor contract compliance.
- Implement cycle and regional/district activities to achieve objectives.
- Meet market demand for our products by maintaining inventory levels and hitting brand distribution targets.
- Work on special projects with a team of marketing representatives.
Key Responsibilities
General:
- Manage, motivate, and mentor other team members along with a variety of personnel to create a positive, constructive, and performance-driven dynamic, while driving efficiencies.
- Establish the strategic vision and direction for AgoPay/AgoGo sales.
- Drive “Best Practices” across the business. Once a “Best Practice” has been identified, ensure that the practice is visible nationally and to another subsidiary.
- Managing sales operations with a focus on achieving predefined sales targets. Forecasting and planning monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets and executing them in each time frame.
- Work closely with Heads of other Business Units to understand sales/business performance trends and position partnership engagements adequately.
- Negotiate solutions, resolve conflicts, and provide solutions in the best interest of the company, and our customers/clients and employees.
- Act as a leader within the country. Understand the priorities of the country operations and support the Country Director and Heads of other Business Units when necessary.
- Support the optimization of various activities to ensure best practices are entrenched towards more efficient processes.
Essential Experience, Skills, and Knowledge
- You’ll be a graduate or equivalent in marketing, business, or a related field, with excellent sales, marketing, and negotiation skills.
- You’ll be a strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
- Most of all, you’ll be a proven leader with the ability to create close working relationships with a wide variety of partners.
Desirable Requirements
- You’ll be travelling extensively across your territory to meet a wide variety of partners, so you’ll need to be prepared to spend a lot of time on the road.
